This page contains information on how the Ezine is put together, what the coming year's programme is, due dates for submissions, and links to templates for putting your submission together.

Submission dates & themes for 2016

  • Autumn, Volume 20, issue 1 - submit articles by 19 February 2016
    • "The Digital Space": looking at the use of digital technologies in career development services, ranging from online career systems, social media apps and platforms, video content, to online meetings and individual consultations.

 

  • Winter, Volume 20, issue 2 - submit articles by 20 May 2016
    • "Vocational Rehabilitation": following the conference in April, an exploration of work in the Voc Rehab sector.

 

  • Spring, Volume 20, issue 3 - submit articles by 19 August 2016
    • "Maori and Pacifica" Career Development for and by Tangata Whenua and Pacific peoples.

 

  • Summer, Volume 20, issue 4 - submit articles by 30 November 2016
    • "Symposium": summary articles from CDANZ Symposium presenters and articles on this year's theme:

Each Ezine issue is themed, then planned so that theme covers as much as possible of the breadth of our careers field. Items are sought in the following areas (but are not limited to):

Templates:

For our member's professional development and curiosity, please provide APA references where possible.

Unfortunately, hyperlinks in Word documents do not survive the transition into the pdfs we use online, so please ensure that any hyperlinks that you use in are supported by an APA reference and URL - a map back to the source - at the end of your article.

Author Image & Strapline Bio

We need an author strapline (eg "[your name] - [member designation & professional offices held] of [your professional organisation], [key professional role or specialty], [key professional role or specialty] and [key professional role or specialty]" which might read as "Kim Doe - Branch President & Professional Member CDANZ & NZAC, Career and Grief Counsellor"). Please feel free to inlcude your LinkedIn profile address; and an author head & shoulders photo.

Publication dates for each issue

  • Autumn issue publication: 1 March each year
  • Winter issue publication: 1 June each year
  • Spring issue publication: 1 September each year
  • Summer issue publication: 15 December each year
