I have worked in the Careers industry with mature Career Changers and Young People making career decisions for their future. This experience has been working on government contracts and in secondary education, a disability organisation, and a health provider.

My government experience includes working in a team at Career Services to provide a national career and advice service, especially for those with information access difficulty.

I have participated in a national government programme to assist people with high needs access career opportunities by running workshops around New Zealand, to mobilize their transition to employment.
I have also worked in a disability organisation assisting clients with career planning and open work placement and specialist schemes.

In 2015 I set up my own business CareerWise, in which I have assisted mature people with Career Changes and Young People making career choices after school or university situations.
In a local secondary school I have provided weekly workshops for students with high needs, as a contractor, drawing on my primary teaching experience to run a terms programme for two consecutive years.

I assist people to evaluate their skills, values and interests and make decisions regarding their futures, to discover what motivates them to move into the future.
