I am a qualified, experienced Career Consultant who provides career counselling, information and advice to prospective students, current students and recent graduates at the University of Canterbury on a casual basis. I provide CV, job search and interview coaching also.

I have also worked as a Careers Employer Host for the University of Canterbury hosting employer recruitment presentations for students and graduates. I also worked for Career Services rapuara (now part of the Tertiary Education Commission).

As a proactive careers professional I am committed to ongoing professional development to maintain currency and relevancy in my practice. I have been a professional member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand (CDANZ) since February 2003. I was on the Canterbury Westland CDANZ branch committee in 2012 and in 2016.

I am also co-author of ‘Healing Our History: The Challenge of the Treaty of Waitangi,’ published by Penguin New Zealand Ltd. (2001, 2005 & 2012). Honouring, valuing and knowing your own story is one of the themes of this book.
