Qualified and experienced career development specialist with a focus on developing career management strategies that adapt to economic and society influences. I support research that identifies Career development as a life-long and ongoing process, and I view Career guidance as an investment in the future.
For the last twenty-five years I have worked with people across a range of age and work types to find new directions e.g. students in and from secondary and tertiary organisations, career changers brought about either by self or through changed circumstances. I have worked in organisations reviewing and building career development capabilities, presented and facilitated workshops.
At critical decision-making points, guided, experienced, non-judgmental and impartial assistance helps clarify thinking and supports planning and actions to make changes.
I value my professional membership of CDANZ for my own professional development and support from colleagues. I have served on committees at a local level and spent five years on the National Executive of CDANZ including a term as President.
