CDANZ Annual General Meeting is a time for celebrating the achievements of the year and planning the year ahead.
Online - An inclusive approach
This will be our first online AGM. We hope it will enable the widest possible participation as you will be able to join in from anywhere you have internet access. Your participation is important so if you have any reservations about using the Zoom platform we encourage you to join one of our AGM orientation webinars the week prior to the AGM. That way you can check that you can see and hear everything you need to on your chosen device. You can also familiarise yourself with how you can communicate during the event. If you have not used Zoom before and are unable to join in one of the scheduled orientations please contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly to make special arrangements.
Please note that we will be using the Zoom webinar function rather than the Zoom room function so attendees will have to write their queries down using the chat function on the platform. The Executive will pause to answer these at regular intervals during the meeting. If needed they can also invite you to speak which, if accepted, will allow you to turn on your video and mic and address the group.
During the AGM current professional members will have the opportunity to vote on any remits to our Constitution. The final agenda will not be available until after we have issued a call for remits and established what our membership wish to disuss. This is a broad outline of what we might expect at an AGM:
6.45pm Zoom platform open for early arrivals
7.00pm AGM commences. The programme includes:
- Welcome and CDANZ Waiata
- Approval of Previous Minutes
- Tabling of Annual Report and Finances
- Reading of remits & ratifications
- Voting on remits and ratifications
- Changes in National Executive Members
- Celebrations and/or Honours
8.30pm AGM Concludes (approximate)

Only current Professional, Fellow, and Life members are eligible to vote at the AGM.
