VOCATIONAL CONSULTANT - AUCKLAND

Alpha is a leader in the provision of Vocational Rehabilitation Services to ACC and MSD within New Zealand.

We are a subsidiary of the JLT group. This offers employees the dynamics of a smaller friendly company while having the security and benefits of being a part of a larger corporate structure. We are currently seeking to employ a Vocational Consultant in the Auckland Area.

Preferably the successful candidate should have the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in either Career Development and/or post graduate qualifications in rehabilitation or Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Development
  • Relevant experience in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services
  • Belong to a relevant professional organisation e.g. CDANZ
  • You will be able to work independently with a high level of self-discipline, have accurate report writing skills, an ability to work to time frames and be computer literate.

Flexible working hours and arrangements are available to the right candidate.

It is essential that you show a willingness to work cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Further training will be undertaken with the successful candidates.

As a Consultant you will be required to provide one-on-one occupational assessments, back to work services and job search services to meet reporting timeframes.
