Jamie Ford, a specialist in human resource development, works to unlock the potential of every organisations' most valuable asset, it's people. He has an interest in the work of Dr Martin Seligman. 

In this session, Jamie will outline ways to build resilience, mental toughness and positive psychology in your practice, and how to pass these attributes on to your clients.

A light breakfast will be provided.

A specialist in human resource development, Jamie Ford works to unlock the potential of every organisation's most valuable asset, its people.

Jamie leads the University of Auckland's Mental Toughness short course at the Business School. This course is in the top five of all short courses.

He also leads courses on Resilient Leadership"and Mental Toughness for Leaders for the Australian Institute of Management.

He has worked in the area of business and personal development for more than 20 years and has a passion for the "people" side of business.

Jamie has worked as a training, safety, and human resource manager across a broad range of industries.

Through his interest in EQ, he has trained in the United States with Q>Metrics, recognised leaders in the application of emotional intelligence to business performance. 

With a strong interest in the work of Dr Martin Seligman, Jamie is a charter associate member of the International Positive Psychology Association and a founding member of the New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology.
